Stephen L. O'Brien

Stephen L. O'Brien became a partner in the firm in the fall of 1999.  Since that time he has successfully represented numerous clients in Criminal, Personal Injury and Estate matters.  Stephen L. O'Brien has litigated cases in the City of New York, Nassau, Suffolk and in the Eastern and Southern Districts of the United States District Courts.  He has successfully argued cases in all New York state courts including the Appellate Division and the Court of Appeals.

Prior to joining the firm, Stephen L. O'Brien gained substantial trial experience by serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney's office. He served as the Deputy Bureau Chief of the Major Crimes Bureau, White Collar Bureau and the District Court Bureau during his career with the District Attorney's office.

Mr. Stephen L. O'Brien is a member of Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Suffolk County Bar Association, for whom he has lectured several times. Stephen L. O'Brien is admitted to practice in the State of New York and Connecticut as well as the Eastern and Southern Districts of the United States Federal Court.
